Important Notes on This Schedule
- SRD R370 Grant: This schedule does not include the SRD R370 grant. The SRD grant does not have a fixed payment date and is paid in batches throughout the month. You must check your SRD status for your specific payment date.
- Linked Grants: If you receive a Grant-in-Aid or War Veteran’s Grant, it will be paid on the same day as your primary grant (Older Person’s or Disability).
- Bank Payments: If you receive your grant via a bank account, the funds will be available on the morning of the date listed.
- No Need to Rush: Once the funds are available, they will remain so. There is no need to withdraw all your money on the first day.
What to Do if Your Payment is Late
If the payment date has passed and you have not received your funds:
- Check Your Status: First, confirm that your grant is still active and approved.
- Verify Your Details: Ensure your banking details or phone number are correct on the SASSA system.
- Contact SASSA: If everything seems correct, contact the SASSA toll-free number at 0800 60 10 11 for assistance.
